Shokade®

Vitamin complex – ADE – Maximum concentration

Shokade ®

This lipasoluble vitamin complex acts on calcium deposition of the bones, as antioxidant of the cellular membranes and in the epidermis, as well as acting as a coadjutant for the immune system at the mucous level.
Vitamin A intervenes in cellular division and differentiation, in the maintenance of normal bone structure, in the integrity of the epithelia, in the antioxidant system and in immunity and reproduction.
Vitamin D3 (endogenous) intervenes in homeostasis of calcium and phosphorous, in cellular proliferation and differentiation and in immunity.
The most important function of Vitamin E is in the prevention of the peroxidation of the membrane lipids through the action of radicals (oxidative stress). Hypovitaminosis E generates disease of the white muscle and the retention of the placenta.

Surcalce®

Metabolic regulator

Surcalce ®

This is an inorganic metabolic regulator for stabled horses which are on a diet based on grains and pasture.
This diet generally has an imbalance in the relation Calcium-Phosphorous (1:4) and a deficiency in Magnesium. This mineral imbalance can produce demineralization of the bones and increases the risk of contracting osteo-articulary injuries as a consequence of the increased fragility of the bones. In growing colts disorders in development can be observed and the appearance of certain illnesses proper to this disorder such as osteo-chondrosis. On the other hand the shortage of Magnesium predisposes the animals to suffer from a reduction in the absorption of Calcium, so deepening this disorder. Surcalce quickly helps recovery from calcemia and magnesemia.
In chronic disorders it is recommended to combine this treatment with Vitamin D (Shokade).

Indications for Use

Its use is recommended for mares in the last 3-4 months of gestation for young colts and animals in the growing phase and for all stabled horses which receive diets based on pasture and grains. Its use is highly recommended for sport horses, because physical activity increases the stress on the long bones and articulations of the limbs.

The via of application is endovenous and given at a rate of 1 ml/20kg of weight.
